SINGAPORE – A pilot programme to allow migrant workers living in dormitories back into the community remains on hold, 16 months after movement restrictions were introduced to curb the spread of Covid-19.

The Ministry of Manpower (MOM) told The Sunday Times that this is to protect workers and mitigate the risk of further transmission as new Covid-19 clusters have emerged in dorms over the past month.
